Letter writing is one of the most important aspects of the sponsor-child relationship, because in a relationship, communication matters. 

Letters are the heart and soul of this ministry.

We encourage our sponsors to write letters to their sponsored children. This is a great way to keep in touch and build a respectful friendship with your child. The thought of having someone remember them brings great joy and hope.  It lets them know that somebody loves and cares for them and that they are valued and special. This will not only impact your child, but will also impact and inspire you. 

When you write a letter to your sponsored child you help their emotional and spiritual growth by:

* building self-esteem
* encouraging learning
* nurturing dreams
* providing a tangible expression of love
* emphasizing a relationship of prayer with Jesus.
