Sponsoring children in our Dondo-Mozambique Children’s Care Center is a program to support physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, cultural, and educational development aimed at forming critical, participative, conscious, autonomous, responsible, just and humanitarian citizens, capable of becoming part of society and the world they live in. 

A) What is Sponsorship?

A monthly commitment where the sponsor contributes to the support of a child, providing him/her with food, studies, health, sports, and other necessities of the child they chose to sponsor. The donation will be directed to Missions Ministry which will then support the child in the form of services that guarantee their immediate and long-term needs within the Children’s Care Center.

In addition, the donation contributes to the better quality of life of the family of the sponsored child.

B) How to Sponsor?

It is very easy to become a sponsor. After chosen a child to sponsor and registering through the web site, you will receive a complete file of the child you have chosen to sponsor and a letter from  Missions Ministry stating the sponsorship agreement. 

It is important to remember that sponsorship is not a one-time donation.  Once you fill out the forms, you will be making a monthly commitment to Missions Ministry, for $52.00/month per child for a period of at least twelve months. You may also opt to pay yearly, which will be $624.00/year per child. 

Once you make this agreement, we will understand that you will be the one taking care of the sponsored child’s needs for at least twelve months.

Please note that you must advise us two months prior to the ending of your commitment if you no longer wish to renew it. Otherwise your commitment will be automatically renewed. If you wish to cancel your sponsorship commitment for any reason, you must contact us and finalize the pending monthly payments.

We would like to remind you that becoming a sponsor is a gesture of love, commitment, solidarity, humanism, altruism, and greatness. 

Sponsorship is an act of feeling the pain of another and putting ourselves in another’s place; it is trying to do our best every single day and to offer a helping hand. If you are interested, you can come with us on one of our missions to meet your sponsored child and thus contribute to the promotion of affection and encouragement. You will also be invited to participate in the events developed by the Missions Ministry.
